After a long vacation with his family, Joe Belfiore seems to have come back at Microsoft. For those unaware, Joe is the Corporate Vice President, Operating Systems Group at Microsoft. He oversees the user experience of Windows across all the devices, ranging from Windows phones to the Surface.

A tweet from Matthijs Hoekstra(Sr. Program Manager for Windows Enterprise Developer Platform) went out this morning,

 

Whether he’s officially back or not, we can’t confirm but this should bear as a good news for the fans. Now that he’s apparently back, will things shape up for the better at Microsoft for the Lumia/Windows Phone devices? We have to wait and see.
