The story of Facebook’s new universal apps for Windows 10 is like a love-hate relationship for many. The apps look and seem good enough but the performance is really sub-par on both phones and PCs.

Today Facebook pushed an update to their Messenger app on Windows 10 PCs(version number 79.576.24452.0). The update seems to be a minor one and doesn’t include any new features. However we can say that there are noticeable performance improvements. The loading time is considerably reduced and the app feels a bit more snappy.

It is good that Facebook is continuing to improve the performance of their ported apps on Windows 10 and improving the user experience.
