Sticky Notes for Windows 10 updated with dark theme improvements

Late last month, Microsoft started the public rollout of Sticky Notes 3.0, the new version of the app with several new features and design improvements. Today, the Sticky Notes app is getting a new update with some improvements.

The version 3.1.26.0 of Sticky Notes for Windows 10 April 2018 Update and Windows 10 October 2018 Update comes theme management. After installing today’s update, you will notice that the dark theme can be enabled everywhere within the Sticky Notes. Previously, the dark theme was limited to the notes page.

You can find the changelog of the update below:

  • Microsoft tested the Charcoal Note but as the users have requested for a better dark theme experience, this update introduces a full-on Dark Mode.
  • Sync is even faster now, including to your phone via iOS and Android.
  • Performance improvements and fixes.

The new Sticky Notes experience

The Sticky Notes app for Windows 10 is available for everyone. Sticky Notes app comes with the dark theme, ability to sync the notes with OneNote which means that your notes would sync on all platforms.

The key feature is the ability to sync the notes across all devices. The tab in the app makes it easier for users to access content stored in Sticky Notes but it only works when you log in with the same Microsoft account.
