Windows 10 Mobile is finally here. The operating system demoed by Microsoft nearly a year ago is no starting to hit existing Windows Phone 8.1 devices. In the last couple of months, Windows Insiders were testing Windows 10 Mobile preview builds and shaping the OS with their feedback. After multiple delays of the update which was initially scheduled to be pushed out to Windows Phone 8.1 users by the end of 2015, the update is officially available as of today.

But the caveat of that is that this Windows 10 Mobile update is slowly trickling out to users and from the initial reports, people in Brazil and Russia are the only ones getting the update. Rest assured that we should have a list of devices and the time frame as to when these devices will receive the update pretty soon. We expect to hear more about this update during Build 2016 and if you would like to check if the update is ready for your device (or region) download the UpdateAdvisor app. Note: if you’re unable to find the app or download it on the Windows Store that means the update is still not available for your phone.

Download the app and start checking for upgrade
