The system that is running on the phone is a Resurrection Remix 5.8.0 ROM based on Android 7.1, which is the latest version directly from Google, with some modifications and extra features.

The ROM offers a full Nougat installation with all the features you would expect from a mid-range Android device.
Performances may not be as satisfating as a Samsung flagship would, but if you think about it, it’s a four year old device running a non-native OS, and it’s also interesting what a old processor can yet do.
