Yesterday Microsoft confirmed that the Creators Update for Windows 10, as previous rumors reported, will be available starting on April 11th via Windows Update. Today, more details were shared from the company regarding the update process. As always, the update will be delivered in different phases. The first phase will target newer devices and the ones tested in collaboration with the OEM hardware partners. The second phase will instead target other devices, based on the data and feedback received during the first phase.
But, if you just can’t wait to get the update and you’re not willing to install the current Insider build, you can grab the update via Windows Update Assistant tool on April 5, a bunch of days before the general availability via Windows Update.
