TrekStor WinPhone 5.0 was showcased back in Berlin at IFA 2017. It is one of the few Windows Phone announced this year. As it is a good-looking Windows 10 smartphone, the Windows Phone fans were looking forward to buy the WinPhone 5.0. However, later the company revealed that the phone is not coming to the market.

WinPhone 5.0 is a new phone from the German company. TrekStor had planned to target the business customers with its new Windows Phone. To everyone’s surprise, Microsoft also listed the WinPhone 5.0 at its online German Store but the device is still not available for purchase.

Today, TrekStor WinPhone 5.0 full specifications and features have been revealed by a German site. The WinPhone 5.0 runs Windows 10 and it comes with a 5-inch HD IPS Gorilla Glass display, the resolution is 1280×720 which is apparently not up to the mark.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor with clock speed of 1.5 Ghz and Octa Core. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, the storage expandable via microSD slot. TrekStor WinPhone 5.0 features a 13-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED Flash and simple 5-megapixel on the front. The other feature includes:

  • Connectivity: Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, nanoSIM, 3.5mm audio, wireless 802.11 ac, GPS.
  • Sensors: Ambient light sensor, acceleration sensor.
  • Battery: 2250 mAh, permanently installed.
  • Weight: 150 grams.
  • Dimensions: 142.4 x 71.4 x 7.6 mm.

TrekStor WinPhone 5.0 is indeed a good phone for the value. We still don’t know whether TrekStor would ever launch its new Windows Phone. What do you think about the WinPhone 5.0?
